Hello Dr. R BHANJA,

We have purchased MDK and we are based in India - you also seem to be in India. Although we have not yet started using it extensively, as until now we were busy with some urgent engagements. However as per our knowledge You can certainly do what you want with MDK and a lot more, but you must be a very good programmer in one of the required programming language.

Regarding your querries regarding the "READ only and READ/WRITE " versions , the differerance in capabilities are related to price data, not the output of your formulas. You can certainly direct the output of your formulas, system tests, explorations etc. to any file while testing with Metastock and again call that back into MEtastock formulas etc. with read only version also, however if you want to write price data files, then you must have READ/WRITE version.

Moreover there is no need to export the output to a file, you can do the programming in such a way that the required inputs are calculated at the same time when they are needed and it can go on internally in the program and you do not see any extra files.

I hope it helps

Sanjiv
