I've reported the following Version 7.01 Bugs to Equis.

Still haven't heard anything back from them.

Doesn't seem fair that I have to make a 30 minute (usually longer) long
distance call to them (sitting on hold for over 30 minutes is the norm)
just to tell them about bugs in software they just finished charging me
for. But they don't seem to be interested in answering E-Mails.

Anyone have a better idea?
Hi Robert,

Still haven’t heard back from you on my last bug Report??

Have uncovered yet another bug.

5. If I make a layout of one security.
Then add a second security with a LONGER history to that layout.
Then add a Zig Zag to that second security.
Then shut down and reopen the layout.
The mouse will NOT be able to find that second securities ZigZag. Can’t
make adjustments to it etc..

Also I mentioned last time that C/P doesn’t work.
Well don’t forget to get them to fix V/P.
It’s MORE important and can’t be replaced by the new RS function.

Robert, This App is still crashing all of the time??? Every 30 to 60
minutes.
I’ve never seen an App this bad about crashing.
And that’s running it both in the online and off line mode.

I sure hope someone’s coming up with some fixes soon???

Original BUG REPORT

Here is the Bullish Consensus Excel file you asked for.
If you don't get it please let me know.

1. Again when I try to add this link to a window in a layout, at first it
lines up fine. But when I close and then reload the layout, the dates of
the Ole file slip. They no longer line up correctly. To see this put some
trend lines on the Ole chart before you save it and close it. (Try SP5
and .spx)

2. Also you were going to get back to me on why C/P won't work.
And more importantly when it will be fixed?

3. Also don’t forget about the trendline bug. If I make a short
horizontal trend line, it won’t move vertically, only horizontally.

Robert, how about a layout editor? I mean one that works without the
chart being up. In English.
That would be a tremendous aid for those of us who trade off of
layouts.

4. Finally, this thing is still crashing A LOT!
Especially when I have been working for awhile, and I go to save my work
into the layout or to open another security.

I get a crash with this message about every 30 to 60 minutes:

<x-tab> </x-tab><x-tab> </x-tab><x-tab> </x-tab><x-tab> </x-tab>Mswin.exe

Exception access violation (0XC0000005)

Address 0X004CECA8

I’m running a 4 month old computer with NT4.0 SP4
I’ve tried all of the usual suspects, rebooting, defragging, new video
drivers, etc.
I have MetaStock 6.5 running on an identical machine next to me and it
hasn’t crashed yet.

Looks like buggy software to me???
Please let me know
