FWIW my experience Symantec's AV & Norton Tools 2000 are really poison for
the system,
even if you install & un-install using utilities like Oil-Change or
Uninstaller you have to edit the
registry and the *.ini files by hands to get rid of them, and sometimes it
would be very difficult
because at startup there are calls to the deleted files. Peter Norton was a
King in the DOS
environment but leave him alone with Windows.
