I have found that the system tester can only be used as a guide.
If you optimize the parameters over a range of data, they may not work for a
different time period.
When selecting the "optimal parameters" dont select the "best" one if it is
an outlier. Select the parameters that have nearby parameters that also
give "good" results. This will give you stable and better parameters. Try
them out and reoptimize every few months.
In some cases, and this applies to any software, the default parameters are
very poor, use those that you think are better.
