I use Quicken and the updates are free as well. Also, my broker,
Cybercorp ,allows export of your transaction file in Quicken format. At the
end of each week I just import the Cybercorp file directly into Quicken and
all transactions including commissions, etc are automatically updated. Has
saved alot of time from having to manually enter everything after you
receive the broker statement. Then you just sort the data and print your
reports. Very handy!
If you are very involved there is Captools portfolio software which
retails for about $295.00 It is very comprehensive if you are investing in
or trading different
areas.
