Yes,
there is an  automated system in the USA.  There is a firm in Florida, I
believe, which has programmed an AI (Artificial Intelligence) program.  The
firm consists of programmers and mathematicians, most of which are Ph.D.'s.

mini-computer based.  The computer gives buy/sell recommendations but the
programmers make the final buy/sell decisions.

Unfortunately, heh, nothing such as this exists on the Windows/PC level.  At
least, I have never heard of such as system.  This doesn't mean it doesn't
already exist.  I saw the above AI system several years ago on an investment
TV show.  Because Windows systems (and software) have become much more
powerful since then, it's entirely possible they may have ported the AI
program to the Windows platform.
