<DIV><FONT size=2>&gt; I must say that your letter has encouraged me....It's
comforting to know that I am not</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&gt; the only one who has spent long hours trying to learn
this business. In fact I now understand</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&gt; (after reading your letter) that it&nbsp;could take me
many more years of study</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>-----snip------</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Yep. And also going through&nbsp;the inevitable times of
excellent beautifull gains and&nbsp;times of heartbreakin' losses.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>This since that it is all part of this thing you do :
merchandising (eg investing trading).</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Now
like any good professional commercial merchandiser's spirit would
do:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
******&nbsp;is not to cut your losses, but to prevent in making them(losses)
*****</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>That can be easy achieved in many ways, of which TA is only
one (but also a BIG one) of the many&nbsp;ways available.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Go for the winners(by filtering) and stay the hell away from
the "unknown" gambles. And like Bill &amp; Fleetwood Mac</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>sang: "Go your own way", thus also filtering out the heaps of
trash information that is around you.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>That filtering&nbsp;out the SHIT&nbsp;should be, eg no
IS&nbsp;(at the) top (of the) priority(-list).</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&gt;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Thanks for the tip on the
Edwards&amp;Maggee book, I will put that on my list to buy. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&gt; I agree with you that who writes an expert isn't the
issue, but to use the best one possible is</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&gt; the main goal....and I understand that&nbsp;was the
reason you posted your reply to J Seed. But</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&gt; J. was referring to the Expert that I mailed to you
yesterday...not my old one (yours is probably</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&gt; still better than my new one).</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>I was replying to the thread "in general", to you+J+all
and&nbsp;not to J in particular. Tho, visualy the coloring of bars
is</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>of great visual effect, I do not find it of great
practical(read: warning+informative)&nbsp;effect.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>This&nbsp;since it(this coloring)&nbsp;is trend following,
eg&nbsp;coming AFTER, instead of looking ahead or telling anything
differently</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>eg thus being of "warning+informative" nature.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Using the many 'experts' that have been created, eg&nbsp;the
many indicators(+sytems) on and off List, can be of much</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>better value + help to one's filter(see
above).&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&gt;&nbsp;Ton, have you posted your system? If you have, I
apologies for</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&gt; not remembering, but the main code I can remember is your
Fractional Levels.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>What expert system you refer to? The Basic Momentum, is the
ST-IMT&nbsp;system signals that I continuesly regurlarly</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>post to the List (Diamantiferous), of which I think knowing it
now as the Bias Momentum (in stead of Basic</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Momentum BM) would be&nbsp;better
covering&nbsp;its&nbsp;workload.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Also the next up Coppock and RSIderivative(a more aggressive
RSI)&nbsp;experts have been (re-)posted recently.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>The Decimal Fractions Retracements are statistic measures, and
cannot be classified as being an expert as such.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>They help tracing the overall trader's phsycologic in markets,
but cannot prefent ending up&nbsp;holding&nbsp;the
loosing&nbsp;sticks</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>at the end of a Trade.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>The levels&nbsp;are more to be seen as guides&nbsp;to possible
targets(S&amp;R) for&nbsp;trader's price barriers, not
for&nbsp;natural</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>human&nbsp;price barriers. Trends of late have clearly shown
the diverence between Trending markets(where people hold</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>on to their positions much longer)&nbsp;and sideways/down
corrective markets, where more (short term) trading activity</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>is taking place.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&gt; I have also attached a chart to a word.doc...is this what
you suggest (seems a little large)?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Yep, except that for some reason the JPEG format is being used
(use JPEG for "scanned images(like photo's" only)</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>and (use GIF or PNG for "plain images"), most likely since
that the image file stems from the use of another program.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Off List I have posted you the methods with example images
packed into a Word file(doc.132 kB), which you should</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>then&nbsp;Open in Word and then also "Save as HTML", so as to
get the images out&nbsp;as seperate GIFs and a HTML file</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>that you can use as Mail's wallpaper, eeh stationairy
!!.</FONT></DIV>
