<font face="Times New Roman, Times" size=3> I
haven't made a weekly pick lately and will be gone on vacation the next
two weekends so thought it was about time <G>. My pick this
week is Harrahs Entertainment Corp (HET). HET at 20.56 looks like
it is completing a sideways move to the bottom of its Short Term Up Trend
Channel (STUTC). Looking at the long-term chart, HET set an all
time high of 37 ½ on 6/6/96 then went into a Long Term Down Trend Channel
(LTDTC) to a low of 11 1/16 on 10/8/98. It broke out of the LTDTC
on 4/14/99 and went on to set an annual high of 30 ¾ on 11/15/99.
