Just got the flyer for MS 7 upgrade for $115 including $15 shipping (who are
they kidding, shipping is at most $4)
The only major difference I can find between version 7 and 6.5 is the Data On
Demand.
Also I hardly ever used version 6.5 as only version 4.5 has the macros.
Equis never figured out how to put the macros back into the product after
version 4.5.
Equis added bells and whistles but took out the basic essentials like AutoRun
Macros, so the program got bigger and less useful.
The flyer also implies you have to get data from Reuters Datalink and pay for
it after a month. So what is the point of Data on Demand if you have to pay for
the data on an ongoing basis.
Is the data really on demand or do you have to maintain a paid subscription
forever to keep the data "on demand?" Equis purposely leaves that unclear in
the flyer.
