Jeff,

I'm traveling at the moment so let me be brief. There is a great thread on
Silicon Investor which is a great forum for getting help and exchanging
ideas.

You will basically find that there are two applictions that most people
have found are great in terms of what they provide for what they cost.
Neuroshell Trader. And the other I think is called Profit. Check Silicon
Investor and you will get the addresses. Most of my experience has been
with Neuroshell. I far prefer their old engine to their new engine and
have found that the old ones in certain situations build more robust nets,
but some people love the trader.

When I get back I can help you with some books if you'd like. Building
nets isn't easy and it's no holy grail, if you can define your model in a
way that the net can analyse it you can get results but it's not magic.
The problem is there is just too much noise in most markets and that throws
of the net. Any good net will have to have a good noise filter or it will
never come close to giving you an edge.

Check out the site.
