Crash problems with W2000?<br>
<br>
I'm running NT4 on late model work stations. MetaStock crashes about
every 30 minutes.<br>
<br>
Please, what did you convert to Excel? Are you talking about strictly
mechanical stuff? Or have you found a way to work visually in
Excel?<br>
<br>
I can't find a way to work up a decent chart in Excel or I would have
converted long ago too. Have you found a charting utility that runs in
Excel?<br>

I m using it for only graphic display of charts.<br>
Don t trust your old indicators. There are substantial problems. I m glad

Please post the code that you found to work. You posted the ones that
*didn't* work, and said that the Inactivity Stop got you out after X number
of days, but you didn't post *that* code.
Thanks,
Nicholas
==================================
Here's the little "test" I just tried:
Enter Long:
H>Ref(H,-1)
The following doesn't exit where I want because of the frequency of the
Enter
Long condition:
Close Long:
BarsSince(H>Ref(H,-1))=10
.....nor does this:
Close Long:
Ref(H>Ref(H,-1) ,-10)
But using the Inactivity Stop still does the trick. Thanks for bringing
this
up.
