Re: Win 98 vs 2000

I have run NT since 3.51 and Win2000 for about two months. I also have
had several Win98 systems. Win2000 is by far the most stable system
I've ever had. I'm currently running MSPro 7 under Win2000. Despite
what I've seen on this list, I've only seen a couple of problems. In
particular the Data Server and File Server has run without a single
problem. The crashes I've seen have only been with MSPro proper.

I can only recommend upgrading. If you haven't used WinNT/Win2000
before, I'd recommend you get a book and read up on protection, access
rights, configuration etc., since Win2000 is "militant" about password,
network access etc.

Hope this helps !
