Better to install Metastock 7 in a new directory, keeping
your old version in tact. The install program then asks
for the directory that contains your custom formulas and
it brings them over to the new version as part of the install
process.
I cannot get Metastock 7 to print the security name on the
price chart.

Subject: Re: metastock 7.0
First I made a complete back-up of the 6.52 EOD version.
Than I installed 7.01 EOD over my existing 6.52 EOD.
Two things are wrong so far: The zoom-box function doesn't function
properly.
It always keeps showing the last date.
Example: Chart shows 1 Jan 1996-26 May 2000.
Zoom from 1 Jan 1999- 1 June 1999. Than it comes back with: 1 Jan 1999-26
May 2000,while the Y-Axis needs to be rescaled.
Second: while I chosed the standard install it did not install the
multi-media files (the video's for the experts)
This could only be done by choosing custom-install and than checking the
multimedia-box.
So I deleted everything (via add/remove software) and installed 7.01EOD
from scratch (a clean install).
Both problems remained. But I "lost" all my own formula's, systems,
templates,experts etc.
