That would be undoing the FILE attributes...............
It most likely is (alphabeticaly ranked) the 5th file in the 1st folder under C:
It can be in use by the OS (WinX).
To remove safely (and if file is not in use or required by either OS):
-Switch back to true DOS (eg reboot + use F8 + enter DOS in SAFE Mode)
While in DOS mode
-Run "Scandisk.exe" (the simple 134 kB DOS version in "C:\Windows\Command")
else
-Use the MOVE command to move file into a zip file (using the PkZip program)
-Use the MOVE command to move the file (only) or zip onto a 2nd medium(eg floppy)
-Use the MOVE command to move the file (only) to the Bin folder (eg "C:\Recycled"
-Last (but more drastic) use the DEL command
-Rerun Scandisk.exe
-Switch back to Win (enter Win on the DOS prompt)
-Back in Win, rerun "Scandskw.exe" (now Win's extended 5 kB version).

Ton Maas
