is, first get a 13 period RSI. then take an 8 bar stochastic of that, then a
three day average of that,

or to use mangled english it is a slow(3period) 8 bar stoch of
a 13 day rsi. A fast stoch is usually a one period averaging.

Hello
I repeatedly see "Stoch RSI
13,8,3", used with three reference numbers (13,8,3).
Will someone
please explain how to utilize the (13,8,3). Thanks, Larry

Tushar Chande apparently uses a value of 14 in his formula (shown below).

( ( RSI ( 14 ) - LLV( RSI (14 ) ,14 ) ) / ( ( HHV( RSI (14 ) ,14 ) ) -
LLV(RSI (14 ),14 ) ) )
___________________________________________________________________
StochRSI = (RSI - RSIL)/(RSIH -RSIL)
where RSIL and RSIH are the
lowest and highest values of the RSI over a given period.

I have not suscribed to Steve's service, but I have reviewed several copies
of his reports and have attended two of his workshops along with Linda
Raschke. For some few years Moore-Raschke were connected: Steve did the
seasonal research and Linda did the trading. Steve was a trader and
seemed to be very through in his market analysis. I am sure he will send
you a copy of one of his reports for you to evaluate his services.
