RE: Risk of ruin, amount per trade formula?

I just ordered the book "Trade Your Way to Financial Freedom" from Tharp
because I'm looking for all these money management formulas and techniques.
I guess I'm mistaken and should have ordered the books from Ralph Vince
instead.  What is the best and last one of the two. And is one the follow up
of the other one or are both similar, just updated.
