Does anyone know if

"... CCT LinRegOscillator:
This momentum oscillator is an extension of my late 70's work (see CCT
Moving Average Oscillator). It simply plots a comparison of two linear
regressions. Both the length of the regression and the amount of "lag time"
are pegged to significant fibonacci numbers. ..."

is the same as the "Karnack LinReg" that Steve used to post?

LinearReg(C,13)/Ref(LinearReg(C,13),-13))-1

For those who wrote ... CIF Gulf is not the name of a company or grain
exchange but means cost, insurance and freight delivered at the Gulf ...
meaning the elevators at the Port of New Orleans.

Best regards

Walter

| Why are there so many people "throwing rocks" at Steve? He does more
| sharing of ideas and methods than 95% of the entire list. If he just
turns
| a bit of light on an idea and that causes us to start thinking along new
| avenues, isn't this good? Or, is it such that we don't want him to cause
| us to think.....just give us the formulas and methods. Heck, even if
Steve
| gave us the system, we still would not duplicate the profit he may derive
| from the same system. This business of trading is a whole lot more than
| owning a formula.....you got to be able to execute the trade.
