Hi Mark,
We haven't seen any of your idiot comments for a while. Where have you been
hiding, under your rock? Or have you just been sending hate mail privately
to Steve?
Tell me, just how does writing some POS language that doesn't do much more
than TAS did years ago under DOS, make you an expert on trading anything,
other than B.S.?
I'll tell you what. I'll put up our (my brother's and my) results from June
if that would shut you up, and you put up yours! Sort of like putting up or
shutting up. I seem to remember making this offer once before. I'll show
you mine if you show us yours.
While I know you don't have a million dollars (or a million anything), I'd
be pleasantly surprised if you made anything from trading for your own
account. Since I'm not selling anything (like you), I'm the one here with
the clean hands. If you don't like my posts, then delete them like I do
with almost all of yours. Now if you really have some experience but have
just been keeping it hidden out of undo modesty, then I will apologize
publicly to you and the list. Prove it!
In case you haven't noticed, I have been posting our futures trades for
quite a while, and have even posted an Excel spreadsheet of our trades going
back to last October (which we send to various family members), that
included all of our wins and losses. The last 20 trades have been posted
and are running at 85%, which is a little better than the 75% average we
normally run. I know we've been through this 75% business before, but I
would think you'd at least follow my posts before mouthing off. I'll keep
on posting (winners and losers) but it'll take about 3 more years to reach
100 trades. What do you say, we run the contest until year end and then
instead of a million, you send me $100,000. That would give you time to
start saving your pennies. I seem to recall your questioning one of my
trades once before, saying that I probably would say we traded at the close.
I know I surprised you by telling you the exact time we executed our trade
and admitting to a major loss by EOD. I didn't hear from you for a while
after that exchange either.
I haven't seen any of your trades posted here. Maybe I missed them because
they were buried amongst your snide comments denigrating other traders. I
would like to suggest that you establish your own trading reputation before
you spend any more time insulting others.
How much money did you make last month while sitting up there on high and
watching all of us poor traders flounder around? $100? $200? What sort of
profit in June would impress you? $500? $1,000? $5,000? $10,000? $25,000?
$50,000? $100,000? $200,000? $300,000? More?
With our track record I don't need lectures from people with your limited
background who come on holier than thou and have practically no experience.
I love watching you in your self-appointed role as our mother hen,
constantly warning everyone about Steve and anyone else who draws your ire.
I've yet to see you make a positive contribution to anything here. You talk
about posting trades. How about posting some of yours?

Hello Guy,
GT> Jean Jacques,
GT> If I had been only trading for two years I'd be worried also. With your
GT> almost 30 years experience, you are only 15 years behind my brother and
I
GT> and at least 30+ years behind my dad. :)
you claim to have all these years of experience yet you are using
this list like a sounding board to convince yourself that you know
what your doing. you obviously have missed what the definition of a
system is, you do not have a system. your system is to talk yourself
into a trade by talking out loud. maybe a few sheep here buy into
this whole "i've been doing this for x years ya da ya da!" whoopie!
as a carpenter i found that 99 percent of the old timers who thought
they were good did nothing but tell about how long they had been at
it. the very few carpenters who were the masters very seldom had to
remind everyone each day how long they had been at it, the
craftsmanship spoke for itself. that and the fact they were the last
on on the job after everyone else had been laid off.
your only as good as your last trade, show me how good you are
rather than tell me how many years you have been obviously stumbling
around looking for a system.
we been doing this a long time? then act like it! mb
GT> We've been doing this a long, long time.
GT> If you're interested, e-mail me privately and I'll tell you a sugar
story
GT> that will turn what's left of your hair really gray.
GT> Guy
