I am referring to a futures account (but you can apply this to the overall 
portfolio). I agree with you that intra day drawdowns are not relevant BUT 
because I use stops. Therefore if things were really nasty during the day 
(night) then got better I would have been stopped (at the worst time, I know) 
and that would be reflected in my end of day staement.
