I'm running a bunch of charts on T-bonds, from
1-minute to daily. My 1-minute bars have had the
right times on them. (Well, okay, they read one minute
ahead of my computer clock, even though I periodically
reset the clock to the NIST atomic clock, but at least
it's consistent.) My longer bars started off reading
9:20 (this at 8:20, of course)and incremented from there:
9:20:01, 9:20:02, 9:20:03, and so on. Now that it's
past 9:20, things seem to have returned to normal.
Does anyone understand what's going on here?
Or know what to do about it?
Many thanks.

Owen, I have seen the same problem in the past while using multiple time
frames in the bonds. First check to see if you have MS set up for computer
time or exchange time: Go to TOOLS then OPTIONS then REAL TIME then click on
CONFIGURE SERVER...here you can check to see if you're set up to have the
vendor supplied time replaced with your computer clock. I've got mine
checked to have my computer clock take over. It seems to work a bit better
for me. As far as having the incorrect time stamp on the bar I was told that
e signal or the exchange must be responsible for time stamping the ticks
incorrectly; however, I don't believe this is true as I am not having that
problem anymore, and you are. If e signal was time stamping the ticks
incorrectly then I would be having the same problem. I was having the same
problem when using multiple charts with multiple time frames, and now I no
longer do that. I am using multiple chart; however, I am using the same time
frame. So I think the problem is with MS handling several time frames of the
same market at the same time. Perhaps this is another bug that the 7.02 will
fix. As I said this is not an issue for me at this time as I am only using
one time frame in the bonds. I know this is not much help to you, but just
wanted you to know that I've had the same problem in the past. Perhaps the
folks as MS can help you further. Good luck, and let me know what you find.
