Re: Trading with laptop and wireless internet connection?

I have some experience with hooking a laptop up to use a wireless
internet connection over the Verizon (was Bell Atlantic) network. The
maximum speed for wireless in this way is 14k. If you are very very very
very careful about not displaying any graphics on your web browser, you
might be able to make a go of it. Forget real-time chart updates from
online servers.

Perhaps a more practical approach would be an application running on a
wireless Palm Pilot. Haven't tried that.

I'm sure that using the web with a wireless modem on a laptop is a
fairly limited and slowed down trip.
