Your frankness is refreshing.
Many of the desired functionalities would be achieved by using a 3rd party
program like TAS (Technical Analysis Scanner). It is a stand alone program.
The last I heard about this program was that it was still a DOS program. It
wouldn't need too many changes to make it compatible with the current
version of Metastock and it wouldn't require learning a new programming
language like C++ or Powerbasic. TAS does have a stripped down, easy to
learn, programming language that gives it a lot of power and flexibility.
Back in the days of MS V2 or 3 Equis had this program on their list.
Apparently the two had a falling out.
I have no financial interest in TAS.
