Hi Jeff and others
The "Ingber" site is "very" interesting lots of re-reading and thinking to
do here. Of course the math is over my head but his ideas and combinations
are very intriguing. Traders that I know who trade the same markets are very
impressed with his work.
The fractal stuff at this site is interesting and includes some Hurst stuff
http://sevilleta.unm.edu/~bmilne/frac/clarat/
and of course there are other interesting things.

Best regards
Walter

| Since you have are into mathematical modeling, take a look
| at Lester Ingber's "Canonical Momentum Indicators" (CMI)
| try http://www.ingber.com (then click on "MARKETS")
|
| I have a very strong mathematical background, but Lester's
| stuff is generally over my head. Maybe you can make sense
| of it. I know CMI has worked very well for him in both
| options and futures trading. From what little I understand of
| it, there is no reason it could not be applied to any market.
| If you can understand it, maybe you can enlighten the rest of us.
