RE: Profitunity Expert in Metastock EOD 7.02

I am having the same problem in Metastock Realtime 7.01. The Profitunity
expert ribbon bar turns grey in all zones. There are no red or green zones.
Changing color resolution did not help. I have reported this problem to
both Metastock and to the Profitunity Group, but there is has been no fix.
Metastock tech support told me the problem is not fixed in 7.02.

Subject: Profitunity Expert in Metastock EOD 7.02

Lynn,

It appears there may be a mistake in the profitunity expert (Bill Williams).
Now the
formulas are password protected so we can not modify them.

If you will note the "Getting Started with MetaStock for Reuters DataLink"
manual
that shipped with MS EOD 7.2, on the back cover is a picture of the
profitunity
expert. Note the ribbon bar: long zones are colored in green, short zones
are colored in red,
and gray zones are used for the transition phase in Bill Williams Chaos
system.

Now note the chart below: (It could have been any chart):

You will note the red and green zones are not colored. Now I have tried
higher color resolutions just in case
there are not enough colors ( I use 256 colors by default), but this did not
change anything. Please
note I used the clean macro to start and merely attached the Profitunity
expert. Now I am not exactly
sure about what should be triggering the red and green zones since the
formulas are password protected,
but I do not believe this is correct in MS EOD 7.02. For example, right
after the gray zone in mid July,
I believe this section should be coded green based upon the "New Trading
Dimensions" book and
"Trading Chaos" book.

Thanks for investigating this.
