Hi Jeff and others
Glad that you like them.
No ... I don't have a web page <G> I'm strictly a private nobody. You're
welcome to web publish any links or ideas that you want however.
Too much to learn and think about. The new programs coming along are really
sensational. I don't know whether you saw Rudolf's post earlier
"... This one looks a little bit like a "show-program" to me. Imo a much
more powerful WIN program "Dataplore" for non-linear time series
analysis can be found (and downloaded) at http://www.datan.de ,
including also several general statistical and other techniques (e.g.
AR(I)MA(X), wavelets, Fourier, etc.). Even the demo-version can be
used for serious work on real-world problems. ..."
The help files etc are worth the download time and energy.
Also the whole Palisade stable of programs are amazing add-ons to XL.
I liked Ingber's site that you posted. However I'm surprised that he's
working with EEG stuff rather than switching over to fMRI analysis. One of
the topics that comes up a lot off list is attention. Many guys come at it
through Karate or other combat stuff rather than just straight analysis of
attention.
Others approach it through personality, trading style, Van Tharp's
approaches, etc.. Seems like a long way around though.
To others that wrote: Does anyone have a copy of the program or help files
or new site for "Quanux Fund Manager (QFM) .... is a software that applies
robust statistical estimation and forecasting techniques to investment
portfolio management. ..."
Best regards
Walter
