Al,

Try this:

Tools..Options..Chart Options  Uncheck smart charts.. 

Then go through your Metastock directories and physically
delete the files in the MSSmart directories.

Now, if you are not experiencing any stability problems 
in Metastock, then leave well enough alone.

Can Smart Charts be turned OFF in 6.52 and where would I find this option?
