I am also interested in volume but have not found any sources.

However at URL http:\\www.investor-tools.com there is a free program there
that includes an index builder which can be used to make indices with
volume. I must tell you part of the loading instructions are in German. One
may use the translation service on URL www.altavista.com. The program comes
with a manual in English which explains much and is accessible after
downloading. I am in the process of setting this program up. I have been
getting help from others as there are some people in this group who are
probably using it as that is where I learned about this program. This
program is compatible with Metastock data. Incidentally it has the
capability of being setup to download ASCII data and converting it to
Metastock data format however that is not my intent to do so.

Subject: Indexes Volumes

Hi to all,

I am downloading historical quotes from Yahoo but for some obscure reason
they don't give volumes with the indexes. Can someone point me to a site
that gives indexes (DJA,COMP,etc...) with volumes for FREE?

Many thanks in advance,

Moshe Shalom
