Lionell,
I wasn't expecting a low-level mail coming from a long-time Lister like yourselves. You
of all long timers, eh oldtimers(forgive me here) on this List, should have known a lot better.
(fresh in mem is still the debacle with the 6.5 --> 6.52 and 6.52a endless line of bugged
Patches).

On top of the Edge, in stead of below.

It's the difference in writing sense or nonsense..................
Giving support is one, but giving the wrong support...................
Nothing teaching, educating or other ways of lecturing related, just writing plain sense.
And also distinguesing bewteen valuable info and (re)posted crab.

F.e.:

1. Where in my prev mail did you find the line saying that you canNOT run 6.52
from 1 folder and 7.0x from another 2nd folder?
Naturaly you can (max=1 instance at the time), and you can create unlimmeted
installations................................but, however, what are the consequences?

There wasn't also a mentioning that it is just PLAIN STUPID to have that type setup,
instead it was kept down to being BLOOPER of the year.
Explainations "as to why" were also fully included.
Nothing teaching, nothing lecturing, just a plain sensable practical solution for the
many problems that are bound to follow and that are bound to be posted next.

Replies to these types of nonsense discussions can be expected, if not, everyone is not
aware what kind of bullshit one writes + does get written here.
Whilst participating in such a discussion, it is also adding + sharing valueable valid &
true information, eg support, with and to others on the List. Something one also gets
explained (or lectured, whatever your fancy) on first time List-subscribtion.

2. What makes you think that you cannot use the same MSK Data Files, running either
    6.5x or 7.0x ?
Set Up does not make any changes to the Data Files. Therefore too, you can unlimmetly
criss-cross between both versions use your single one Data Files base.
Set Up will also not touch any of your templates, charts or layouts.
On opening it will <for the first time> make changes to these display files, enough for
a latest version not to work with an old program version. Old news, and was also
explained in prev mail ("The cover might look as 6.52 but the base will be 7.02, with all
the possible consquences too(errors, malfunctioning), to follow or for a 6.52
    program to function properly.").

Again, also in this instance: valid and TRUE support (or explaining or lecturing, whatever
your fancy), eg letting others know on for hand and thus upfront, not to go down that
painfull route of :
"how to sqrew up one's current correct installed MSK version".

Thus if this is "lecturing", then by all means, teach us oh all of you Masters.
It will make us all better program users & better investors, and ones that are not faced with the
latest software & trading problems possible in the business.
Nothing teaching, nothing lecturing, just plain sensable practical true solutions exchanging.

(I'll pass for to be bitten by the dog, instead I'll have it for lunch (Ton Maas 2000/08/06)).

Regards,
Ton Maas
