For those who have had problems with formula file upgrades: Did you install
into a separate folder or did you install to the same folder as the previous
version (overwriting the earlier version of MetaStock)? It is important
that I know this.

Thank you.

Subject: Re: 7.02 problem

I upgraded from MS Pro 7.0 to MS Pro 7.02 on a Win98se machine. I
first corrected all errors in my 7.0 indicators, etc.,
as Ron suggested. I then installed over MS Pro 7.0, not into a separate
directory. Everything went very smoothly. I let 7.02
convert my indicators, etc., during the upgrade process. I have
approximately 900 indicators (for lack of a better word), more than a
few of which use fml() calls, fmlvar() calls, and/or are deeply nested.
I use full formula names in all Fml() and FmlVar() calls. After the
upgrade, I'm not missing any indicators on charts or layouts. On
several charts I did find a couple of indicators that did not belong,
and simply deleted them. I have none of the problems mentioned by
others with the exception of the daily/weekly template thing. On my
machine it does not work correctly on either online or local charts.
Over all, so far I would say that my upgrade was a great success. Quite
a change from when I upgraded from MS Pro 6.52 to MS Pro 7.0, which had
problems with fml() calls and fmlvar() calls.

Regards and good luck.
