You can do everything yourself - contact Network solutions (or some other domain
service) contact an Internet provider, etc. OR hire my service take care of it
all for you.

Domain names are registered once and paid for on a yearly basis. Network
Solutions require 2 years up front. So other Domain name services allow you to
pay for multiple years up front. Web hosting is paid on a yearly basis also
unless you have a large website then quarterly payments can be arranged.

You can contact me for more information and/or a quote.

Subject: (OT) Domain Name Question

Even after doing some preliminary Internet research, I'm still a bit
confused....

If I want to have my own domain address, such as, oh, for instance,
www.kormanik.com, how do I go about 'obtaining' this? Is there just one
'business' that handles this application process? Do I have to subsequently
pay for my new domain name on a yearly basis, every year, forever?

Any help appreciated.
