I'm also a little disappointed. After a few EOD explorations I hardly got
one "Unconfirmed Entry Signal" in my whole database. On my 60 minute chart
on the INDEX-future (very volatile) I track I do not get a lot of these
"identified/recognised" patterns, but once they appear they seem to be very
tradable. (This is only by playing around backtesting as the CPR s/w is
still very new.) As explained in the manual it is programmed to identify
patterns that is not always very visible as "traditional/recognisable"
patterns. This is true. Some of the identified patterns is very difficult to
identify by visual inspection or by trendline analysis, but in the CPR s/w
they seem to be working/identified. What might be of value is the entry
signals and the profit targets, but I'll only use it for reference/confirmed
by my own system.
I've got it and will use it and only time will tell if it is best for EOD
or intra-day or for slow moving stocks/futures or volatile ones. Hope it
helps.
Cheers
Wilhelm
