Here's one way to do it in MetaStock Pro 7.02.
1. Open a local chart of the underlying security in the smallest timeframe
you intend to use (10min, for example).
2. Open two new inner windows and plot your 10min RSI in the first inner
window. Leave the second inner window empty for now.
3. Open a 60min local chart of the underlying security and left click on the
price plot to highlight it.
4. Right click on the 60min price plot and select "Copy."
5. Return to the empty inner window on your 10min chart, right click it
and select "Paste"
6. Plot an RSI in the same inner window, ensuring it is using the 60min
data as the base security, rather than the 10min data (you can tell
because the particular base security will turn magenta).
7. Ensure that your RSI parameters (colour, line style, RSI periods) are
correct, because you cannot edit it later (see below).
8. Select the 60min price plot and change its colour to the same as your
background to make it invisible.
One weakness of this method is that the indicator which uses the inner window
data as its base security cannot be selected or edited. This means you have
to delete the inner window contents and start over if you need to change
parameters. Kind of a pain, but maybe someone can figure out another way.
I have attached an example with the 60min price plot left visible.
Plotting daily indicators is tougher. I have not found a way to get daily
charts or data files to update in realtime, and the technique described above
does not work with, say, a 60min chart compressed to daily. It is possible,
however, to plot an end-of-day daily chart, but your indicator will not be
updated until you update your end-of-day data files, obviously.
Hope this helps.

you can do that on trade station as well
that is of course assuming that you want to deal with trade station, which
if you are a first time user I would not recommend

The only software that I'm aware of that will do this is Fibonacci Trader.

Greetings to everybody.
I am new to THE List.
I would be thrilled if anybody out there could enlighten me on what
functions or procedures in Metastock Pro would enable one to plot an
indicator of one time base(or time-frame) on a chart of another time-
frame.For example;
(1)A 60 minute RSI on a 10 min chart
(2)A daily Stochastics on a 60 min chart
or (3)A 60 min RSI on a daily chart.
