Re: Convert Yahoo Historical Qupte to Metastock

The file type you are downloading is ".CSV" (Comma Seperated Values)
file and NOT ".TXT" or ASCII text. The best way to handle this is to open
the file downloaded from YAHOO in MS Excel first. Now change the
date format to "dd/mm/yy". I capitalize the column headings also, but I
don't
know if that is necessary. i then save the file as an Excel ".XLS" type
file.

The ".XLS" type file is the one I convert, and that works. For additional
specifics, click on the "Help" button displayed on the "Convert" dialogue
box.

Hope this helps...................... John
