Chris,
sorry to butt in. Just want to second Al with my own excellent experience
with QP2. Add to this that they have their own mailing list where questions
are being answered by the head technician, Janene, or one of the developers,
usually within an hour or so.
A small Midwest (I believe) company where customer satisfaction is still the
goal. Many a larger company - not to mention any names! - could learn from
them.
Price is right, too. They have stocks and commodities. An unbeatable value
for the price, IMHO.
Kind regards,
Michael Suesserott
Disclaimer: I have no connections with them, except as a customer.

Chris,
When I left Primate, I reluctantly went to QP2. This blew me away: full
market downloads in about two minutes, a not to bad charting program,
ability to run complete scans, fast e-mail support, and the conversion and
import into MetaStock is so-o-o effortless, like automatic. The only
problems I have had with data has been some closes on very volatile stocks,
and that is a matter of what time is the closing reported. I was reluctant
to go to anything that the MS Downloader did not support because I thought
MS was gospel, and my experience with Primate was so terrible. Jim
Greening and others on this list spoke such high praises of QP2 that I
tried them. These folks treat you like a customer.
