I am using a 'freeware' programme for daily downloads of quotes. Offline
one puts in their list of ticker symbols, I have it as an icon on the
Desktop and just click on it and away it goes, dials, connects to Yahoo or
PCQuote and fills the screen with data and no adverts. Friday evening it
did everthing except get the data, it went through all the usual motions
but no data. I changed my selection from Yahoo to PCQuote and it worked
but that meant changing all my Cdn ticker symbols and some I couldn't
figure out. I figured Yahoo had made a change that was not compatible so I
e-mailed the author, he replied there would be an update later in the day.
He emailed later to say that it was available - Wow - Same Day Service eh!
