<DIV><FONT size=2>1. You should&nbsp;add a single fake date with OHLC values

<DIV><FONT size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;displays the data in a different

<DIV><FONT size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Add &gt;1000 and again it will again

<DIV><FONT size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Add &gt;10000 and again the format will
change.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; These changes are due to #2
below.&nbsp;</DIV></FONT></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>2. You should also check your "Number" and "Valuta" tabs in
the "Control Panel|Regional Settings".</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </FONT><FONT size=2>The moment you change
the settings for "Number of Decimals" and/or for "Numbers in Group"</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;then the Downloader will once again
display the data&nbsp;differently all together.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; From the MS Knowledge Base:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Basicaly&nbsp; -in Windows- &nbsp;the
Regional Settings are used for&nbsp;the PC OS's&nbsp;default DISPLAY
settings&nbsp;of data.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Changing these Regional Settings will
effect the DISPLAY of&nbsp;data.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>
<DIV><FONT size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;And the&nbsp;Regional Settings
CAN&nbsp;then later&nbsp;be changed (overruled) by </FONT><FONT size=2>an
Application.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; My settings here for both "# of decimals" and "#s in
group" are:</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 3 and 3 on the Number tab and also&nbsp; -for easier
relating-&nbsp; 3 and 3 on the Valuta tab.</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>Both the Downloader and MetaStock however,&nbsp;will only display 3
decimals when the OHLC values are =&gt;100, see gif.</DIV>
<DIV>When &gt;1000 both programs will then even default back to 2 decimals and
this is also true for the DJI(=&gt;10000).</DIV>
<DIV>When &lt;100 then 4 decimals are&nbsp;being used, which all is
basicaly&nbsp;incorrect when considdering the above</DIV>
<DIV>standard Decimal setting (3 decimal digits only). Automaticaly rounding
is&nbsp;also done and done so properly !!!!!</DIV>
<DIV>{uppose to your in MSK data, that's not&nbsp;getting&nbsp;rounded at
all}.</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>It has been so since first buying the program(v60), and realy doesn't
disturb me, tho unconsequent it defenitly&nbsp;is.</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>Excel f.e. defaults continuesly to 3 decimals, unless I change the Cell's
Format properties.</DIV>
<DIV>The moment I then copy data from the Downloader to Excel, that's when
your+Guy's funny format&nbsp;now also displays</DIV>
<DIV>in the cells holding the copied data !!!! {see also&nbsp;my previous
mail&nbsp;on this subject}.</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>As far as the&nbsp;change from fractions to decimals, rest assured that it
is not a big deal.</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>Exchanges overhere are only using decimals, metrics, kilometers and the
likes for&nbsp;&gt;100 years now, and this is</DIV>
<DIV>done so without&nbsp;getting sweaty hands. Who needs ancient Roman methods,
anyway&nbsp;??</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>Though, and from all the above + the wrong digits displaying,&nbsp;now
comes the real question:</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Is&nbsp;MetaStock truely DECIMAL -proof ????&nbsp;&nbsp;</DIV>
