Re: Datek Options Trading

Maybe you need to apply for Level 2 options. That would entitle purchase of
naked calls/puts. Maybe their computer system won't handle the combinations
(ie, covered calls, married puts) right now but will handle outright option
positions. This message was probably computer generated from a list of
email "sections". They just concatenate them together and send them off.
Just a guess.

It must have been written by a lawyer or a politician or copied from a
Lloyds of London insurance contract. You're right, the 2 paragraphs are
mutually exclusive.

I received this e-mail from Datek, but don't understand, as the second
section seemingly is contradicted by the first listed section.

Can any of you explain what we're now allowed to do????

Thanks,
Nicholas
