I've believe that "days in test" includes weekends and holidays, which would
be different from "bars in test" or number of records in your test set.
MetaStock counts them, although you probably have the preference established
not to show those days in your charts.

You can demonstrate this by an example (e.g. loading only bars from say last
Tuesday) and running a "Maximum Profit System" test (so that you get some
results) and looking at the number of days in test.  The "bars in test" you
should be able to count as six, but the report will show 8 days in test,
accounting for the two weekend days.
