Hi Adam
No problem. Bob Umlas is a regular on the Excel-L List. He's an Excel MVP at
KPMG Client Service Technology at rumlas@xxxxxxxx
He answers lots of questions regularly. You name it and he knows it. For
Excel-L (Developers) List subscription/signoff info and archives, see
http://peach.ease.lsoft.com/archives/excel-l.html .
For the General list, see http://peach.ease.lsoft.com/archives/excel-g.html

To others who wrote: You can use "odd characters" for your passwords if you
want. I received some XL stuff the other day that the trader had passworded
it with 23 ASCII characters. I had to reinstall the Windows Character Map
just find all the ASCII key strokes.
You can run two versions of XL. Put them in separate hard drives. Ton can
probably tell you about the problems associated with that, as he mentioned
about the problems running two versions of Metastock. You'll need a copy of
XL 7 if you want to run your decompiler for 5 or 7 xla's. Most trader's
xla's that you'll get privately, are written in 7, and 5 won't run 7 xla's.
Maybe installing the separate version on another computer would be better.
Thanks to others who straigthened me out that Excel 7 is not Excel 97 but is
Excel 95. <G>

To others: I keep copies of my code modules and "subs" in a separate
"library". Otherwise I can never find anything. It's very handy for cutting
and pasting code. Anything new that comes in gets saved to the "right"
folder.
To download data on a series of stock symbols from Yahoo is going to involve
more code than you suggested.
Best regards
Walter

Subject: Thanks Walter!!
I had been working on an Excel "Daily Work Sheet" for several weeks, and
couldn't figure out
how to code a particular search based on 2 conditions, then I saw the link
you posted:

This gave the clues I needed!! Thank You!
