Hello Adam,
to paradox here, anyone who is a master at their trade is proud of it
and wishes to be recognized for the accomplishment. however old
school craftsmen seldom revealed with any depth the very trade
secrets which allowed them to make a living. on the other hand there
is a need to perpetuate and hand down the knowledge that took so
long to acquire, its prevalent in human nature.
Person alone on an island manufacture and automobile from start to
finish within a lifetime having no other resources than the
barren earth he sits upon? how much easier would it be if that island
had been previously used as a dumping ground for old cars?
I do not believe anyone who successfully at trading did so of their
own accord without mentorship. those who have been successful without
mentorship just have not been around long enough to understand how
little they really know.
I made the statement once I thought I knew how to trade until I went
to work for a trader (who's name was used in reference as part of a
traders profile recently on the back cover of futures magazine) who
could really trade.
AH> I have a question for you Professional traders (I think I already know the
AH> answer,
AH> but I don't want to be presumptuous)....How many of you have had someone
AH> tutor you or mentor you when you first started SUCCESSFULLY trading?
