Subject: How do I import an ascii or excel file into MS with Downloader?

I'm trying to import commitments of traders data that I got from the CFTC
website into MetaStock via the Downloader program and have been
unsuccessful so far.

The file comes in a comma delimited format, which I've imported into excel
first. But when I get into the Downloader and try to do the conversion, I
get the red X indicate there are errors.

Has anyone done this before? Is it possible?

One more question: If I wanted to just enter this data by hand into the
Downloader, what are the steps to do this? I know I would have to create a
new file in the Downloader somehow, but I haven't been able to figure out
how to do this either.

Please respond privately, and thanks for your help!
