Yes, this is true. The product is called StarOffice and has
afaik all the functionality of MS Office. Additionally, it
can directly read and write MS Office formats. You can
download it for free, or request a CD with the software.
Personally, I haven't tried StarOffice, but I have been
told that people who use it are highly satisfied with it.
