Paula,

When you say the Conners book has paid for itself umpteen times over do you
mean to say that you have traded his patterns consistently over a period of
time and that they consistently have worked or have you used his ideas as
jumping off point for your own patterns.

I ask because I got the Jeff Cooper book after all the accolades it was
getting and found that while it was sometimes profitable; more often than
not you you could fade them.  Part of the problem may have been not using a
good enough filter and part may have been because of the great number of
traders trading those patterns and gapping the stock.
