Re: Posting Problem. Conversion Utility.

I received several requests for the free utility which converts JPG's to
GIF's. Click on the link below to download it. A few usage notes. It is
very simple to install and use. It does not come with an installer. The
EXE file is the utility. You don't need to use the folder names that came
with it. All you need to do is place the EXE anywhere you wish. Just
create a Shortcut to it and place the Shortcut anywhere it is convenient.
You will need a ZIP utility to extract it.

To convert any type of PIC's, I use File> Multi-Convert. Click "ADD",
highlight all the files you want to convert, choose the type of PIC to
convert to (in this case CompuServe GIF), the mode is "256 colors"
(Adaptive, NOT dither), then click "GO". That's it. It will convert all
the files at the same time.

I use a simple but effective trick so I can still use the HTML file
MetaStock created along with the chart file. After conversion to GIF, I
change the extension from GIF to JPG in Windows Explorer. Then I upload
both files to my site. Users can then see the HTML file along with the
converted GIF file.

Good Luck,
