Whatever his personal experience on this issue is, we shouldn't discourage the best
on the List from sharing their trading "secrets". You, successful guys, be sure,
there is no "disgust" on my part <g>.
Second, regarding
> ...There is significant contempt for the trading discussions, etc. on the List

I disagree here again. Yes, there is a minority, mostly, I guess, novices
who believe that to learn which button to push in Metastock is the major
issue to tackle in this business. But in reality all of us have a chance
to learn here, on the List, FREE what otherwise we would have to pay 1,000s
$ for. And in most cases, that would be time and money wasted, IMHO.
Let's use more actively and accurately 'Subject' line and filters. One can
filter out everything with "Off topic" subject. Also, if someone hates to
read what a particular lister writes, make a filter to direct his miserable posts
directly to Trash folder <g>. After all, why not to behave like grown-ups - not
expecting everybody's writing to accommodate our own tastes, unless, of course, it
goes far beyond a common sense.
And, finally,
Jim, please don't do this: "I decided to no longer discuss my weekly picks on the
list. I'll limit my comments, if any, to pure Metastock issues." Your posts about
trading TAUGHT ME A LOT, even though I trade differently.
