Henry,

There is some evidence that .dat/.mwd (price records) files are being 
updated correctly, however the last (most recent data) date ain't in the 
Metastock MASTER file.

To ascertain that, just try a very simple command in the Downloader : 
Tools/Convert from the faulty directory (Metastock format) -to- a temp one 
(Metastock format). The temp MASTER file will rebuilt from the price 
records. Once the conversion is complete, open the temp directory in 
Metastock : if the "last date" is correct, then there is now a very strong 
evidence.

Forward the test protocol & results to your data supplier tech support. If 
the tech guys do dispute the results, ... it might a good idea to think 
about changing.
