Here's a hotwire interview with Farmer. His 1999 IEEE article is much more
helpful.
The issue is to be able to take rocket science ideas and convert them to low
tech versions that the individual trader can use.

| too-challenging descriptions of the more arcane concepts involved -- which
| would probably go over most general readers' heads anyway, certainly over
| mine.

| The Prediction Company folks have no kind words for "chartists," but I
| think what they're doing themselves can fairly be described as TA on an
| unlimited budget.
