I would surely agree with the fact that Metastock 7.0
has got certain "engineering deficiencies". However, I
was using 6.52 without much of a problem. I did
experience some problem while printing charts but
otherwise it was quite ok.

All I intend to say is that I found Metastock as a
product better in respect to features, ease of use and
custom indicator development compared to Omega
TradeStation 2000. And Equis is definitely more
responsive to customer problems than Omega. 

You can try another product, Pattern Smasher--slightly
different in nature--but very good in support. The
developer team led by Ed Kasanjian and Hyrum Paulsen
take personal care to solve problems of the users. You
