When I first started out I used Metastock all of the time and found it to be
very useful. It only cost $300 and for all of the flexibility and ease of
use it provides I find it well worth the price. However as I have
progressed in my trading I have been developing trading systems.
Unfortunately I hae not been successful with Metastock in this area and have
thus moved on. I stil use it to review various templates that I have set up
for Index charts etc.
I have never used Omega but I hear a ton of complaints about it being
"buggy" and very expensive.
