Herman---Consider the bad data that is served on up each download----it'll
take a week just to correct all the errors. If your search brings up 500
out of 10,000 issues, do you have the time and money to analyze buy all of
them? To narrow down this 500 to a manageable quantity is the next problem.
My suggestion is to use the issues in the S&P 500 and 100, the NASDAQ 100
and 200 and DJIA as a start. Add the midcaps, etc as you get up to speed.
And, you can get a prospectus of a fund you admire and pant for and add
their holdings. We have a MS users group in northern NJ if you're
